Lenovo P2’s massive 5,100mAh battery can charge other smartphones

first_imgAfter announcing the K6, K6 Power and K6 Note, Lenovo has now unveiled a couple of more smartphones – the P2 and the A Plus – at the ongoing IFA 2016 trade show in Berlin. While the P2 looks like a mid-level phone, the A Plus seems like a more budget offering from the company in question.The USP of the P2 is its massive 5,100mAh battery which can also charge other devices using an OTG cable. The technology would be similar to something that we’ve seen previously in the Asus ZenFone Max. The P2 supports quick charging, unlike the Max though which is nice.The Lenovo P2 comes with a 5.5-inch FullHD AMOLED display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB of inbuilt memory with support for expandable storage via microSD card. The phone comes with a 13-megapixel camera on the rear with dualLED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The P2 also boasts of a front-mounted fingerprint scanner.The A Plus on the other hand has a smaller 4.5-inch display with 854×480 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB, of internal memory which will be further expandable. It sports a 5-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery.Lenovo has so far announced the Yoga Book, Yoga 910 and Miix 510, Moto Z Play alongside the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod, K6, K6 Power and K6 Note phones at IFA.advertisementThe K6, K6 Power and K6 Note are mid-level phoned that come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box. While the K6 and K6 Power has a 5-inch FullHD display, the K6 Note comes with a bigger 5.5-inch 1080p screen.
