Via FacebookNorthridge native Tim Hogarth won the annual Pasadena City Amateur Championship for a record sixth time on Sunday. The title is Hogarth’s sixth since 2007 and third in the past four years, says a report in Amateur Golf.Hogarth, 52, finished three rounds at the Brookside Golf Club at 5-under 209. He started the final round with back-to-back birdies and never looked back, keeping his chasers at bay with an even-par 72.Hogarth won at the 1996 U.S. Amateur Public Links, which earned him an invitation into the 1997 Masters. He also won four consecutive SCGA Mid-Amateur titles from 2007-10. In 2011, he was a finalist in the USGA Mid- Amateur tournament.Recently, he qualified for the U.S. Senior Open Championship at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After opening with 70, the lowest score of any amateur, he followed with an 81 to miss the cut.The only other player to finish 54 holes under par at the Brookside golf course was Brandon Gama, who went 1 under on the back nine on Sunday to reach 1-under 71 for the day and 1-under 213 for the tournament.Gama, 31, qualified for the 2017 U.S. Mid-Amateur. The former Chico State player won the 2008 Santa Barbara City Championship.Freddy Esparza was behind Gama with three shots back at 2-over 216 followed by Tongun Lako Losarah at 4-over 218.The Pasadena City Golf Championship is an open flight conducted over 54 holes. As one of the largest and most prestigious municipal golf tournaments conducted in the Western United States, the Brookside event is considered a true test of golf and is highly regarded by the area’s top amateurs, and handicap golfers as well.The 2018 Championship was the 83rd Pasadena City Golf tournament conducted at the Brookside Golf Course near the Rose Bowl. In addition, the streamlined forbearance processes on offer are both very generous to homeowners and restrict some established forms of servicer diligence, which could lead more borrowers to utilize the programs than normal and put added strain on servicers.Later in the episode, we’ll be speaking with Whalen will be diving into the government’s response to the current pandemic, including servicer liquidity concerns and the long-term impact of mortgage forbearance programs. According to Black Knight, as of April 16, more than 2.9 million homeowners, or 5.5% of all mortgages, have entered into COVID-19 mortgage forbearance plans. International Ocean Vessel Technical Consultant (IOVTEC) and Valour Offshore Marine Services (VOMS) have formed a strategic alliance to provide services for the offshore wind market in Taiwan.The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under which they will bring the DP vessel Avatar Courage, owned by Singapore’s VOMS, into Taiwan to support the market.IOVTEC and VOMS will utilize the recently re-flagged Avatar Courage to provide geotechnical surveys, bubble certain solutions, heavy spare part transportation and crew accommodation services.The multi-purpose DP1 Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel (AHTS) recently completed work on its first offshore wind project in Taiwan, IOVTEC said.“We are excited to devote new assets to support this blooming market and proud to have the chance working with our partner VOMS. As a local company, IOVTEC is devoted to providing optimal local solutions,” said Vincent Tsai, Chief Executive Officer of IOVTEC.
